i noticed a couple of days ago there was a very small "chunk" out of my bristlenose's dorsel fin. it now seems to have gotton bigger in that its kind of progressing down his fin towards his back. also his tail is getting a little bit ragged. what do you think i should do? is finrot easy to get rid of? i'm kinda worried coz i love my catfish :-(

by the way i tried to take a picture of him just then but he's hiding.

If it is fin rot it isnt to bad to take care of. I would recommend you go to a lps and get some medication and treat in another tank if possible unless they all are getting it. Also make sure that none of your fish are bitting at it

well i cant exactly move it to another tank coz i dont have another tank. i do think though that one of my neons might have possibly had it (it seems to have gone now) but i think that might have been from my flying fox (which i no longer have) biting them. i havent noticed any of my other fish biting it but i'll get some medication anyway.
