Help Me Please Bristle Nose Plec

hello i own a cummuinty tank with about 40-45 guppys and 2 sterbai corys and a male and a female bnp i have 1 little live plant a fake plant a big shipwreck
a breeding cave made with resin and small gravel substrate i wonders some info on breeding these fish and will baby bnp be sucked up to a filter i allways find baby guppies in or will the plecs avoid this problem thank you for your help and i hope you can help me bye

Just give them clean water and a good variety of food and they will breed. Just make sure you have room for all the fry because my BNs have about 100 fry every 3 weeks. Whats type of filter is it? You can cover the intake of the filter with a bit of filter sponge to stop them getting sucked in but it will slow the filter slightly and means all the bits in the water will get stuck on that bit of sponge so you will have to clean it fairly often.

Its quite likely the odd one will get sucked in. You know the little slits where the water gets sucked in through? Well you can cover them with a bit of filter media (the sponge stuff inside the filter). Does that make sense?

Ive got a few tanks but i dont have any with the filter like that if thats what you mean.

lol that was a quick reply how didi u know i replyed does it make a sound and i meant of the tank not the filter but yer are these foods i got good for plec Flake,bloodworm,daphinia frozen,dried bloodworm,powder food,Algae waffers,cucumber,lettue

It doesnt beep or anything i just refreshed just after you posted so luck haha. Them foods look fine. What the powdered food? You can feed them pretty much any fruit and veg. Ive fed mine lettuce, cucumber, courgette, spinach, strawberry, grape, coconut, apple, banana and probably a few others i cant think of off the top of my head.

nice how do i prepare a bananna and a cucumber because ialways see the seed floating about and the powerded food is what i feed the guppy,cory,gourami fry with you got any pics of ya tank reply soon

I use plant weights to way it down. Im not sure if the BNs will take the powder food but if it falls to the bottom and they go over it they wont turn it down.

In my 30G i had 3BNs+fry, 1 banjo catfish, 3 upside down catfish, 8 panda corys, 1 male apisto, 6 hatchets, 2 steel blue killis, 5 glowlight tetra and 5 harlquin rasbora. Il looks over stocked but i had massive filtration and my water quality and fish where perfect. The plan for the 150G is
2 rotkeil sevs
2 festiveums
5 redhead tapajo geophagus
pair of Aequidens latifrons or Aequidens metae or F1 Aequidens sp. peru
3 bns plus fry
1 banjo catfish
4 Sturisoma festivum
3 pictus
8 emperor tetra
