im gonna post a bunch of pics of possible males and females ..

just wondering which ones people think i should spawn

personally, ive been thinking of using one of these 2 plakats..

this male knows what hes doin when it comes to breeding

this male has never bred before... his body is more of a darker brown color.. never bred before

the female ive been considering is the one in the middle (blue fins).. she really is a darker blue color with yellow .. a 'mg' as i call her... shes the queen of the tank at the moment..
another one of her.. not showing her colors at all

here are some males..
blue plakat, purple dt . . . the purple dt has some veil in it, i dont really want to breed him... but thought id post the pic anyways

garbage pic of the opaque male (didnt realize i didnt delete it on the digi cam and didnt notice i uploaded it either, so im posting it anyways)

thats pretty much it in the way of males... i do have the cts from bkk, and blue plakats from aquabid, but they are too young to breed ..

now onto females..

turquoise dt and multi dt

yellow marble dt <new> (searched the tank for 10 mins for her, saw her tail coming out of under the gravel.. somehow she dug herself under a fake plant and into the gravel.. wasnt moving, but she will be ok)

black/platinum dt <new>

platinum dt, red ct dt, and yellow delta

now onto old pics of females

weird colored marble blacky body with blue fins

WELL that is it.. the males/females i have to choose from.. im looking for a diverse spawn... interesting colors/patterns, tail types..

any opinions would be appreciated - flames are not

Gosh, that multicolour dt female is gorgeous
I have no idea which pair would be best for breeding, but my fave two on the whole are the first plakat male and the multi dt female.

hmm... maybe i will try the 2... that female is always full of eggs, and is barred up quite often also.. i have a week or 2 to decide still..

im waiting on cultures of vinegar eels, microworms, grindal worms, and blackworms..

so i will have a whole army of crap to feed to the fry

I have a weird matchup, but I'd choose the opaque Delta and the green delta.

the opaque is actually a dt... i never thought about that, but im trying to 'save' the opaque for a white/opaque female..

i really dont want to breed the opaque and have none of his genes show through..

ive been talking to some genetic pros and they said that the only way i might get opaques other than using an opaque female, is a clean steel blue..

im on the lookout for female opaques in Canada !

that female is pretty cool... i might do 2 spawns at once..

that idea with the plastic containers gives me more room... i could spawn 2 diff pairs in 2 of those containers..

the green is really metallic.. i wouldnt mind spawning her with someone... i have a white/black marble male dt that might produce some wacky offspring with her..
