So here's the basic Hardscape for now

What's your opinion on this? I'm thinking of adding 2 stones at the base of the wood and 3 larger stones in that empty space at the right.

I think I'm wanting a triangle-like scene. I'm gonna be working with Amazon Swords, Wisteria, Ludwigia, Rotala, Dwarf Sag, Stargrass, and some Ricca.

What do you think my placement should be for those plants? This is my first aquascape and could use all the help I can get.

Personally I would go with just one large river cobble to the right in the space then plant around them.

I'm not a plant person (unless they're corals) so I'll leave that part so someone else for now :)

Just looking at your hardscape I'm getting some ideas (to be honest I think you should keep your hardscape the same). Maybe a mat of riccia at the base of the wood, some ludwigia repens in the right back corner, some stargrass in front of that, rotala along the back, amazon swords along the front glass, and then wisteria on the right of the wood. I mean, this is your aquascape, but I think that would look really good.

I'm with above, looks good and the rocks idea is good, so long as you plant short to tall, front to back it looks like your on a winner.
