Help Me My Pump Does Not Work

Help me... my pump worked great for a long time, now on my last move she does not want to work at all. I have a 2 year old Oscar in there who is going nuts. I have a 2177 ehiar pump for a 50 gallon tank and I'm scared my baby will die. Help me please

Thank you for the advice. It worked. My Oscar is now happy again. She was laying eggs in my tank just before we moved so now I have another question Do I get a male in there or no

NO a big NO,

oscars will fight like mad with another oscar your very lucky if you can get a pair, plus oscars need huge tanks your looking at a 100+ gallon tank for 2 oscars

Ok, i thought so just needed some advice, I have put other fish in there and she ate them..... She was at first with another one when she was a baby it was a male and eventually she hurt him and he died. Whats more amazing is that there is sickers in there and she has not eaten them!
