Im getting 2 clown fish for my tank when its ready, but what is the 'correct' nemo clown fish?
I've seen bits about perc clowns and ocellaris clowns, what is the difference?

i just googled the question and this is what came up but there seems to be as many different answers as there are clown fish  http://www.google.co.uk/url?sa=t&source=web&cd=1&sqi=2&ved=0CCAQFjAA&url=http%3A%2F%2Fanswers.yahoo.com%2Fquestion%2Findex%3Fqid%3D1006052424594&ei=l6LuTba4Cou1hAfI4oHMBw&usg=AFQjCNHJZBqasURJ0cMy1NAtTzquttC9qQ

True perculars have black borders around their stripes. Oc don't. Nemo was a true perc!

yup tim burtons film..... but i dont think it was the original
i quite enjoyed jaws too so maybe i will get a great white for my tank :hyper:

I done a load of research on sharks in the wild - I could bore u with some info but time for bed for me! Agree batman and jaws are legendary films - all up there up there WITH finding Nemo!!

+1. Finding nemo is a great film. And jaws also. I also really enjoyed deep blue sea aswell.

I liked Shawshank Redemption, so I have decided to replace my LR with bricks and iron bars and fill the tank with Convict Gobies.

Lol.

I have 1 perc and osc. Hope they pair somehow although they do stay together.

Ive never seen jaws! But have a strange obsession with sharks, would love to swim with them! So i wouldnt find that info boring lewis!

Thanks for confirming which clown nemo is haha. :)

Ocellaris also have black borders on the white bars.

Percs black border is usually thicker.

The best way to tell the difference is the number of spines on the dorsal fin -

Ocellaris have 11 and rarely 10
Percula have 10 and rarely 9

Think I got that the right way round!
