Hi there nice people, i need your help today to decide on a biotope i have 3 biotopes in mind.
1. asian swamp in a 90x40x30 cm tank. dirted with a brown substrate, lots of wood and botanicals, dark water, some plants mainly stems, floaters and epiphytes, dim lights, little to no current. Stocking: 2 three spot gourami, 6 mystus bimaculatus, 6 leopard danios/10 chilli rasboras, 10 neocaridina blue dream.
2. asian river rapids in a 90x40x30 cm tank, genuine river sand and different sizes of river rocks, no wood, only epiphytes and biofilm/algae, strong lights, fast current 15-20 times the tank volume per hour, river manifold, cristal clear cold water. Stocking: 8 reticulated hillstream loaches, 6 white clouds, 6 bamboo shrimp (maybe some dojo loaches).
3. amazon river basin in a 70x30x55 cm tank. dirted with dark substrate, lots of wood and some small pebbels, dark water, all types of plants including floaters and terrestrials (like pothos with its roots exposed and peace lily planted in to the substrate), medium lights, medium weak current. Stocking: 2 angel fish, 2 ancistrus dolichopterus, 5 endlers, 20 neon/cardinal tetra (maybe a crab or small crayfish/shrimp but i would need some ideas).
so those are it, please help me decide and if you can give me some advice.
Thanks!
