Help! Lyretail Molly Has A Puffy Eye.

I got home from work today and noticed that my lyretail molly's one eye is puffy and swollen so bad that the eye is barely visible, its a dalmation lyretail molly and its eyes are both usually black but now it has a white swelling around it. Anyone know what this is or how to treat it?

It could be popeye which is not fatal from what I read. You should isolate her right away. I'm not going to give you a better answer as I don't have any experience in treating this--yet (fingers crossed) Is there any chance she got banged into anything or netted recently so she's been injured? I'll let others take over as far as dealing with popeye...that could be it though...

Need more info as well on size of tank, how many fish and which type, plus water stats in ammonia,nitrite,nitrate, and ph.
If the eye is bugling out it pop eye and you will need maracyn one.
