how large would you say they grow to. You say young, i've 2 that are about 20ish cm.

Planet Catfish says 8.7"

S. eupterus is an 8 inch (20 cm) Standard length fish.

It is also not a Corydoras and therefore the topic should actually be moved into Other Catfish.

I've 2 of them in a 4ft tank. Do you think thats to many or would you keep them.

How many gallons? I can see no reason that 2 x 8" fish can't go in a 60 - 90 usg.

I think the formula is 2 x height and 1.5 x width with of course say 1" per 2 usg for Synos. This is very rough. You would get more response and help in the Other Catfish forum with the Syno phobes.
