Hello! I recently bought a new betta, and he was sold to me as an "Alien" betta. I am new to the whole wild/hybrid bettas, so I really don't know exactly what I bought... I tried to do some research online but I got some conflicting results, so I decided to ask you guys instead! 
Is this guy actually an Alien betta? And what are Alien bettas? Also, his head seems a little bit lumpy. Is that normal for this type of betta? Or a result of being sick/too thin?
He is currently living in a 5 gallon tank, with temp at 80°, ph at 6.7, Ammonia 0.0, Nitrites 0.0, Nitrates 10 ppm. His tank mates are a mated pair of blue cajun dwarf crayfish, two adult blue velvet shrimp, and an unknown number of baby shrimp (My guess is between 10 and 15, I'mpretty sure the crays have been slowly hunting them down).
