I've been asked to help identify some fish at my LFS. The body is scaled and silver/grey in colour.

As you can see (apologies for the poor pictures, taken with mobile) they have a slightly squashed face and 'bug' eyes. The appear to have a couple of darkish blotches along the flanks, but am not sure if these are juveniles or adults. Size is about 1" max.
Any suggestions?
Thanks
Martin

Does anyone have any idea what these could be? Even family level? Don't even know where to start on fishbase!
Thanks
Martin

Picture is not all that clear. Looks like a young something judging by the dispropotionately large eye. A Garra species maybe, a lot of Garra rufa types around at the moment. Doesn't seem to have many dorsal fin rays so a lot of the Osteochilus and similar genera are unlikely as they tend to have longer based dorsals.

Thanks - at least it gives me somewhere to get started. Again, apologies for the poor image quality, but only had my mobile phone with me. Next time I go back will take my digita camera and try and gt some clearer pcures.
Thanks again
