Help Id This Striped Hypancistrus

He decided to go out for a stroll so I siezed the opportunity carefully removing his caves and driftwood, then i started taking shots.. he got spooked once he saw the orange ready light from the camer, freaked out looking for his cave.. hope i didnt spook him too bad.. in the video he seemed calmer already.. i know the pics didnt come out so great but it was the best I could do.. hopefully i'll get more opportunities..

Unfortunately the quality came out horribly in youtube, i don't know why. It looked decent on my camera, if anyone knows how to upload videos to youtube without degrading the quality too much i'll do that and repost, cause that video is pretty god-awful. So yea.. with the pics and vid at hand, im still thinking L129.. anyone else?

defo not L199 thats a panaque and spotted not stripped looks more like a L015 or L103 the 1 im most inclined to go with is the L270

If your going to try and correct me, be correct yourself lol, a L199 is a hypancistrus and stripped and not a spotted panaque.

It's not a 270 from what i see and certainly not a 103 or L15 considering they are both peckoltia species and it's very clear from the pics and vid that its a hypan species lol.

Still say it's probably a 129 but still possible 199

It looks a lot like my 2" flash/emperor plec L204 but then I'm not up on plecs!

A lot of the juvies look very similar to me anyway! I have 2 flash plecs and 1 clown plec and they look very similar! The clown is just a bit smaller!
