Help Id This Eel!

I got an eel just yesterday but the LFS staff said it was called a fire track eel. I know what a tire track eel is but he didnt say tire.... heres a couple of pics!!

Cant id the eel, but can you please make your signature smaller, its hard to keep scrolling thru the pics and information, not trying to be annoying just politely requesting, also a mod will either ask you or do it for you if its reported

could you get a better pic of the tail pls. looks like a half banded spiny eel but could be a tire track

Nope it isn't.

As said its a half banded spiny eel

i would agree with nelly in saying half banded eel. i can see why someone may think its a tyre track as the markings are similar but the tyre track would have the mottled coloring up the whole body whereas the half banded (this one) only has it half way up the body from the tail!
