ive had this algae growing on the leaves of my anubia and the blades of my common vallis for a couple of weeks now.
i thought it was just a common growth which i could kill off and remove with some water changing, cut down on light and trimming off the infected plants but its not working.
i've looked throught a few sites and i think it might be BBA but it's not 100% like the pictures and discriptions ive seen.some of the sites recommend upping CO2 ( which i dont do or understand how to do ) but all i do is dose the fresh water with ferropol and a daily drop of ferropol 24.
also i have a problem with my common vallis only growing 6 inches before turning brown, dying and then getting removed. i went to my lfs and they suggested on mistake could be i have covered some of the plant with the sand in the tank and this is causing it to rot from the bottom up, so i have lifted the grass up out of the sand ( i dug around the plant but the cories just brushed the sand back into where ive taken it out )
if you guys can help steer me into the right direction id really appreciate it.
