I need info for everything how to take care of them and what to do with the babies.. I'm at a dead end lol I can't think .... I have to get Ick meds tomorrow the one I have I will not use its from walmarts and it seems to have Ick in the thing, as soon as I put it in my tank it grew on the fish like wild flowers I couldn't stop it its called Ick Away "wardley"

Please someone help me !!!

Erin :dunno: :(

well salt bath is the best solution, for the fry you can try useless salt compared to your older guppies. and dun leave them inside too long, like a min or 2 then put them back in to a tank with normal medications. do this once a day only, cuz they are very easy to die.

When I had ich in my tank, I turned the temperature up, added 1 teaspoon of salt for every gallon (gradually), added malachite green and did a daily gravel vac to pick up the ich tomites from the gravel surface. The ich disappeared and hasn't returned since. However I've never had fry so I'm not sure if this is as practical for them.

You can't actually treat the white spots when they are on the fish, you have to wait until they reach maturity, leave the fish and fall to the bottom. At this stage you can syphon them up before they reproduce and reattach themselves to the fish. It's not unusual for the white spots to disappear and then a day or so later, return in abundance. It just means that they've fallen off, reproduced and attached themselves again. Also, turning up the temperature speeds up the life-cycle of the ich, so if you do a daily gravel vac, it increases your chances of removing it. The ich medication should hopefully catch the ich whilst it is in its free-swimming form, but a lot of people manage to overcome ich without the use of meds.

Sorry, not sure if any of this as safe for fry, but I know it worked on my guppies.

I haven't seen you in awhile...
My husband & I are going out in a bit to go get another 10 g tank to put the fry in they don't seem to have anything on them yet and I don't know how to treat them either I think the white spots have already been to the botton because every one of my fish have a little on them (mostly the male lol always swimming with the females)so as soon as I get the babies out I will start everything everyone has told me I used a really good Ick killer with my Gold fish and it killed them right off the fish it was gone in a week and half and my fish were fine for a year...I can't wait for the new tank to cycles, I don't have time and I don't think its a good idea to take half the old tank water for the new. what should I do just do it and hope for the best with the fry?????

Thanks to everyone who helped
Erin :(
