one of my girls is getting a bit of a belly on her,i've been looking at pics of pregnent fish on the site and i thing she has got some little ones due, so do i need to do any thing for when she has them.  when i can get a pic uploaded to my page i will post one so you guys can tell me what you think I.E is she or is she not..
by the way she is a spotted mollie

A female molly who has been in with a male molly.

I don't even need to see a pic. I'd say 99% she is preggers.

Yep would agree with that :)

If you want to keep the fry then you might went to get a breeding net and try to get as many fry into it as possible and feed with one of the commercially available fry foods. If you have a male in with her I wouldnt go to any great pains to try and preserve the fry as you will have a lot more coming along later on anyway.

i was not expecting this to happen until i got alot more experiance and info,i've only had them for about 3 weeks now and very new to the hobby, do i need to do any thing for her. In my tank i have 5 rocks and 5 fake plants and gravel. and i don't no if this means anything but she swims around on her own and if any of my other molies [3] go near her she chases them away.
she is not that big at the moment but if she is preggers how long have i got [est]  :look:

I dont have a great deal of experience with live bearers and I'm sure someone will be able to come along with better advice. You wont need to do anything for her (other then making sure water quality is kept up).

Like most live breeders they will breed a LOT so seeing preggy mollies or lots of fry will probably be something that you are going to see a lot of :) The fun part can be trying to find homes for them all...

your female molly will look like she is going to bust a day or so before she drops the fry. If you wnat to raise the fry you might want to get some live java moss or if you dont want live plants you can pick up some fake "Guppy Grass" and make sure that you LOTS of hidding places for the fry to hide in so that the bigger fish can't eat them. Also have on hand "baby fish food"
I hope I have given you some good advice.
Remember you can find even more info on the inter net.

Unless your certain you can rehome many MANY young mollies id seriously recommend changing your current arrangement. Female mollies are sperm magnets and you'll be over run with them in no time. From experience (my partners dad) I can safely say that a tank so full of mollies most other fish die is not good :(

Good luck, im sure you'll manage and learn alot along the way :)
