Help! I can't get rid of Ich!!

Hello. Well it's been 3 weeks now that I have been treating both my tanks for Ich. Just when I think it's totally gone, I notice a spot on my fish. I have been treating with QuickCure, heat at 80C & salt.

Does anyone have any suggestions for treating platys? Can the platys tolerate higher heat? I don't think my 10 gallon can go past 80C and it has 2 babies so I will have to leave it at 80C.

Also, my platys are getting white cloudy spots or streaks in the fin at the base of their tail. It doesn't look like an Ich spot, but could it be embedded in the fin?

hmmm..... 80 Celsisus? isn't that really HOT?! or did you mean 80F?

Next.....you need to treat ich for at least 14 weeks......not just untill the spots go away.

this is probably why you can't get rid of it.

Keep doing what your doing just for longer.

Hopefully someone else can help with the streaks on the tail.
