I've posted this in other areas, so if you see it twice, that's why.
Ok. I got home and the carpet's soaked  . I've put all my fish into giant tuppawear thingy so they're fine. :/

I need to know how to find the leak. how to fix it. Has it happened to you. just any good advice basically. :D

So far, I've taken everything out of tank and have put it on the floor on newspaper. I'm filling it with water, so if it dribbles, I can see where from. I've bought aquarium glue.

Basically, i'm a girl, :*) I don't know about this stuff. If I can't see where it's leaking from, what do I do? :look:

If anyone's done this before or if you've got any ideas, it really would be greatly appreciated.

Also, my tanks only about 7 months old - I bought it brand new. why would have this happened already. :dunno:

Ok. thanks heaps for any advice!

If you bought your tank new and its only 7 months old.....I would take a look at your guarantee, and phone the shop to see if they will exchange it for you. Where are you located? The tanks I buy come with a years guarantee........although this doesn't cover heaters and filters......it does cover the tank!!!!! Good Luck.

Here's a link with the info you need:

Fixing small leaks

If you dont have acetone, you could use some type of rubbing alcohol, just make sure the area to be glued it clean and dry to ensure a good bonding surface.

A tank will tend to leak if its not properly balanced. If you have access to a level. I would advise checking to see if your stand is level. HTH ;)
