Help fluval 207 canister filter stopped working

I accidentally switched my filter off whilst trying to turn on my air pump and now it’s not working. I’ve taken it apart as if to do maintenance and nothing looks broken etc and still nothing? Help

Does it do anything when you plug it in? Any noise or movement or is it just dead?

It was just dead!!! I tried everything!!! Cleared the pipes cleaned everything even though it was cleaned 3 days ago! Tried to get it going 5-6 times so filling emptying you know the drill!!! Gets to 12:30 and I’m thinking right let’s get all the media moved into the internal Juwel filter that I kept as a spare... did a water change to try and get rid of some of the gunk that was kicked out when priming. Guess what the internal filter didn’t work!!! Check I’ve got the right plug in, and I hear a buzzing noise, the bloody impeller is spinning in my fluval now & the internal Juwel didn’t even work!!! So now transferring everything back into my fluval!! I swear to god if it doesn’t work now, the whole tank is going out of the window!!!!

Great news we’re all up and running again!!! Thank the lord!!!! It’s 3am and I have to be up for work in 4 hours ?but my fishes are safe and that’s all that matter! Night and peace out x

Aw man that’s annoying I’ve had it with an fx5 before glad you got sorted and at least you can feel good about doing your best for those fish - they are lucky to have you!
