Help! Fluval 2 Plus Not Working

I need help asap. I cleaned the filter in my fluval 2 plus, put it back together and now it is not working. Any suggestions? I don't have the money for a new filter.

can u turn it by hand?

dose it make any sound when pluged in?

try flicking the impeller when it is turned on

it should start spinning again - hopoefully

Hi all! Thanks for the suggestions. It ended up being the impeller. It was gummed up. Took it out, cleaned it up and all is well (PHEW!)
