hi i put some leopard and zebra danios in my first tropical tank last week.
there are 6 of them and a leopard has layed eggs, but they are in the filter well on the outside, but are too big to be sucked through how do i get them off and keep them safe to breed. please help. many thanks glenn!

If they can't get sucked up just leave them there.

but what will happen when they spawn will they get sucked up then!
thanks!

Only thing is that if you move them you can damage them, do you have a big piplette that you maybe could suck them into.

i have a gravel cleaner and i could suck them into a bag and peg the bag to the side of the tank so it stays at the same temperature!?

You could try that then, a piplette is a plastic strindge thing that comes with meds.

hi thanks mate ive just done it after a struggle to get the gravel cleaner to suck. about 20 eggs in total. ill let you know how they get on!
many thanks glenn!!!!!!

Great, good luck.

just to make sure do eggs look like little bubbles and how long would they take to hatch thanks!!

have a look in the Fish index section under Cyprinids - zebra danios. It has info on how long they take to hatch and how long they become free swimming.
