Help. Eating Eggs

what kind of betta is it, in one species the males will pick up the eggs to place them in the nest if he's spitting them out its normal, whereas the other species will actually keep the eggs in his mouth til they hatch, it depends on which you have

xXx

He is a half moon betta. its his first spawn. no the eggs are not falling he is definately eating them. shall i remove him and hope for the best?

PM was sent to me, but unfortunatly, I've never actually bred bettas before so have no idea if it's ok to take the male out or not.
I don't see why not though if they're the only ones in the tank.
From what I understand, he only looks after the newly hatched for a short time before you need to seperate him or something like that, so I don't see what the problem would be in just seperating him now.

i think he needs to put them in his mouth otherwise they won't hatch. some enzyme from his mucus apparently breaks the harder coating of the egg allowing the babies to come out
