Hey there,

I have a guppy that I’m unsure is sick or pregnant???
Big belly, but pale yellow so can’t see the spot on their side , however they are breathing heavy and just chilling at the bottom of the tank.

I’m afraid that is Dropsy. You can try epsom salt baths and feeding the fish a Blanched, peeled pea then fasting for 48 hours. Usually the disease is fatal though. For epsom salt bath you need pure epsom salt with no fragrances. Place about a gallon of tank water in a large mixing bowl and add 1 teaspoon of dissolved epsom. Place fish in bath for 3 minutes then place back in tank. You can do this 3 times a day. The epsom salt pulls fluid out. Keep us posted. :)

just a thought, melafix worked on one of my female guppies :) her belly shrank in less than a week!
salt is also good.

dropsy has the "pinecone" stuff while the pregnancy has just a enlarged gravud spot on most fish and big square belly.

That's a male (body shape + you can see the gonopodium), so it can't be pregnant. The raised scales look like dropsy, I'm afraid. I've heard some people had success with doxycycline - but since it's an antibiotic, it's best to use outside the display tank to protect the beneficial bacteria.
