Help! Do Fish Eyes Grow Back?

I am wondering if fish eyes will grow back, i just brought some herqulin rasboras and when i relesed them i noticed one had a eye missing?

no, eyes don't grow back. i have a copper harlequin with 1 eye, and have had it like that for about a year. it will be fine, although in the mornings when the light hasn't come on yet it swims really wonky.

Im not sure, it just a big hole there, but hes still swimming fine, just isnt shoaling with the others.

No, he was either born like it and you just didnt notice in this case it should be covered over just leaving a creator,or if it is a fresh loss then id reccomend good wate changes until it heals,It will addapt much like a human does, also you can by fish which are blind having no eyes called blind cave fish,If you can determin if its fresh or a old wound it will help

As nelly said, he should be fine. If it is fresh, it would be best to put him in a hospital tank, keep pristine water and dose an anti bacterial treatment. If not possible, just keep up with good water changes, water quality is a big part of healthy fish and therefore for healing wounds. Hope that helps.

Sorry Nelly got to correct you as its my only chance LOL. Blind cave fish are actually born with eyes but as they are not needed the skin/flesh grows over them at a very young age!
