Help! Bugs or Babies

Had Rams lay eggs 1 1/2 weeks ago...I thought they ate all of the eggs...female has been acting relatively odd, so I wasn't sure if she was guarding or in 'denial' that she'd eaten them...the past couple of days she hasn't been doing anything- back to business as usual...so, today I decided to do a water change and gravel cleaning...and in a glass bowl I put some of the water- just to be on the safe side - in case there ARE babies...well, there are teensy things swimming in the bowl and I don't know if they are the babies or creepy little bugs...is that possible? water bugs? I have really great water (not to boast or anything ) so would that be possible? I don't know...any ideas...I won't flush the bug/baby water till I hear back...thanks in advance!

If they r babies, they should look like babies like u could at least see 2 eyes (and would reflect when u shine a torch to the eyes) and a tiny tail no matter how small they are.

Can u describe more on how they look like?

You're right...and I decided they just didn't look like babies...my husband insisted they were...I think he's in denial that they're gone...I still don't know if they were 'bugs'- but they were creepy and I got major heebie-jeebies after looking at them so closely...eeeewwwww....I will be more diligent in my gravel cleaning from now on (and I thought that I already was)...eeeeewwwww...

They'll be considered food sometimes! And yeah gravel cleaning n water changes will reduce their "baby boom"!
