I have three Angels that have been doing very well over the last 10 months

Now all of a sudden they stay at the top corner of the tank.

Don't swim around much and look sick.

This has happened all of a sudden they were doing well last night.

Now they stay in the top back corner and don't come to the front when someone comes to the tank like they used to.

Please Help I fear I will loose my three Angels.

What could be wrong with them.

Thanks for your help

Hi there.... What are your water readings? Nitrite/Nitrate/Ammonia etc..?Do they have any obvious signs of disease or damage? reply back and someone will porbably be able to help :)

No all the parameters are great,

This has happened over night.

they don't have any spots or anything really visually wrong

they don't seem to be using there fins much and there top and bottom fins appear a little clamped.

Thats all besides that they look fine.

Help guys I'm desperate.

please can you post the rsults of your test. all i can think of is ammonia or nitrite poisoning. when was your last water change and how much?

they do seem to have a little whitish slime or paste on them they don't use all there fins to move around

I found my angels huddled once and realized I forgot to plug my heater back in after a water change. just an idea. good luck :)

Whatever has or is happening I would do a 50% water change and siphon out as much detritus as you can. Check all your filter media and clean that out as normal in the old tank water. If things dont improve after that you need to think back as to whether you have introduced anything new to the tank recently.
