Morning chaps, I dont usually post round here but im writing during a time where im trying to save my angel fish, and sadly I think he's just died on me! :(
Woke up this morning as usual to switch the light on and to give them a little feed, didnt really expect to find my angel fish looking absoulutly battered and struggling to survive on the bottom of the tank, hes usually black but hes gone completly grey on one side of his body, the thing is i can't work out wheather hes been attacked over night and serverly stressed from this and gone grey, or wheather he was pretty sick during the cause of last night and has sank to the bottom and the other fish have taken and good beating to his fins. I love my angel fish so much he was the helight of my tank for me as he was a real charactor to me ! im just real sad to see him go, but for future refrence id like to see what the problem was because he was looking real good last night.

Thanks peeps if uve taken the time out to read this as i really gutted

The other fish in me tank

4 zebra danios
1 long finned leopeard danio
4 black widdow tetras
one deceased angel fish :( who is no longer with me
1 plec
1 gourami
1 rainbow fish
1 coolie loach

they all looked so happy yesterday what the hell went wrong ?

It happens sometimes dan, The only fish in your tank that might have attacked him is the danios and Angels are quite delicate fish so if they get stressed then it doesnt take much for them to die.

Anyway, best thing to remember is dont blame yourself. Your levels and your tank was fine.

Have you tested for an amonia or nitrite spike that may have caused him stress? Have you noticed any one picking at his fins or chasing him around?
