my friends parents bought a tank about 5 years ago, a 3x1x2 foot tank, well they got a range of fishes, well one of them is causeing them problems at the moment, it is a common plec, well he is not a problem as such but they think he is, the main problem is they want rid of him and they have asked a number of pet stores and no one wants him, but they want rid of him as soon as possible, so someone suggested to them they should just kill the fish and have done with it, but the plec is in really healthy condition and i dont see why they should dispose of a healthy fish like him.
So i was wondering if i could place him in a 24 inches (lengh) x 12 inches (width) x 15 inches (height) for a temperory basis until i can get him a larger tank, so how long could he stay in my tank until i could get him a larger one, also the plec is about a 12 inches long at the moment and 4 and half years old or do anyone have any other suggesting of what they could do with the plec, thanks
