Well well! I was cleaning out my 30 gal today, and what should I find? A baby!

I thought it was a platy at first, though I haven't noticed a belly on my female at all. So, curious, I caught it, and to my surprise! It's a teeny tiny cory! I can see its little barbels and everything. Sooo tiny and cute! I've got Pandas and Pygmies in my big tank, but I suspect it's a little Panda, because it's got black on its eyes. I only found the one.

So, any advice on keeping the little guy alive? I've never had cory babies before, and really want him to make it! Any advice would be appreciated. :)

Hmm, just an update, and a few photos! He's now in a breeder cup, floating in my 30 gallon. I've put some baby brine shrimp in there for him to eat-- is that alright for him?

And now for some baby photos!

Awe bless congrats on your wee baby :)

Baby brine shrimp is fine, also finely crushed flakes :good:

Its obviously done well in the tank to reach the size it is.

Aah, thank you, both of you! :)

And thank you Harlequins! Guessing from your sig and your title there, you seem to have a lot of experience with cories! I'm glad a more experienced eye than my own seems to think the baby looks like he's doing well.
