hello there marine people!!
this is my first post in this part of the forum, after being hassled by my boyfriend to let him have a nemo, i've donated him one of my 40l tanks to start up as a nano reef
live rock got added today, only got hold of 4.75kg so looking for more tomorrow..
i also got some weeny coral bits that had broken off the main ones in the shop, and there were some little bits of rock with polyps on that i got too.
They have been in the tank all of 1/2 an hour and 2 of the polyps are already open and wafting around!
its all so exciting!!
weve got 2 18watt 8" t5 high intensity bulbs being delivered tuesday, and a big fat starter for them on monday aswell as an aditional powerhead to go with the one in there at the moment....
just sharing my excitement! will post photos and maybe even a stage by stage if im feeling particularly over enthusiastic
