Fish Fanatic
Hello everyone, how is it going?
Well, I'm in fishkeeping since April 2012, when I started with a small aquarium with only 20 liters. Then, I stopped the hobby at the end of 2018, because I moved to Florida (I'm from Brazil)... well, once again, I'm in Brazil and, also, in fishkeeping.
Since I was still in my term paper (I'm doing a Major in Biology from a Brazilian public institution and I would love to do a Master's Degree in the US or somewhere else) about brine shrimp culturing in the lab, I bought a small aquarium with 30 liters for this assignment. Experiment finished, I converted the artemia tank to a freshwater tank (the artemias are in other recipients). Currently's still cycling and I hope I can put a Betta splendens.
Anyway, I hope I can learn as well as share knowledge.
Below, are some of my aquarium photos of the past (okay, I must improve my English...).
My first successful tank... 20 liters with a betta and two Pomacea diffusa. Date: 2012.
This lovely male paradise fish committed suicide. Date: 2014.
Another lovely betta that I had. Date: 2014.
My malawa shrimps. Date: 2015.
Once again. Date: 2016.
The last animals that I maintained in a tank... red cherry shrimps. Date: 10/01/2018.
My artemia culture. Date: 2015.
I hope you like it!
Soon I'll ask about betta nutrition, but I'll do it another time.
