Hello Everyone I just wanted to have a friendly introduction.
I am new to fish keeping, but I did do quite a bit of research to make sure that I can be the best fish mom I can be!
I have a 29 gallon tank, and my goal is a community tank. I first started with some zebra fish and Kuhli loaches. I have recently added 2 German blue rams, and 2 nerite snails. (I know there may be some concerns over water temperature but the store I got the rams from suggested a temp of 78-84, and some sources suggest that zebras have a maximum of 82. My current tank is set to 80 as a happy medium for everyone). I am thinking about maybe getting 2 more snails. I also potentially may get another quick moving schooling fish depending on stocking levels!
Also, does anybody have any recommendations for keeping you tank cool in the summer? My apartment can get quite hot (no air conditioning) and I expect that this may increase the water temperature in my tank as the weather begins to change.
