Hello everyone! Back when I was a teenager I had a tank, but have not had one for decades, so now everything feels completely new. I have decided to get back into the hobby now that I am older and have a lot more patience and funds to properly make a good home for a bunch fish. I plan to have a 55 Gallon tank, which will fit the room I plan for this to be in. Since I will feel okay enough to visit my LFS soon, I have started to really get to work on getting this set up, and start cycling.

Thanks everyone! I started a thread in the beginner forum of potential fish, but am already thinking I may need to revise it a bit. I am waiting for my PH/GH test to arrive, which should be tomorrow, so I can get more info on what I want in there. I do know I have hard water here, which may cause me to heavily revise my plans, cause I had a lot of South American species in there.
