Hi there.

My name is James and I'm from the bitterlly cold place reffered to as Scotland.

I've recently bought and set up my first aquarium and am a total novice. No doubt there will be plenty of assistance required and I look forward to getting to know more about all things aquatic.

The tank I have is a basic 2 foot job. I have a Fluval 1 filter, Delta Therm 100W heater and an Arcadia light controller. The tank has only been up and running for a few weeks but I already have 10 Neon Tetras, 2 Mollies (1 Dalmation and 1 Black) and 2 Guppies (Male & Female). There are various plants in there as well, plastic ones, amazon swords etc.

At this stage is there anywhere I'm going wrong? I've taken a sample of water to the local aquatic centre for testing and he said it was ok, so fingers crossed!
