Hello, my name is Frances and I live in East Devon. We have kept tropical fish for a number of years but after moving to a smaller house three years ago we had to get rid of our tank.
We have now moved nto a larger house and for my birthday I was given another tank. Lovely, I really had missed my fish. Its not a big tank only 24"x12"x18" on a stand. When all is running well I want a krib, and just one or two community fish. I do like cichlids, they are so interesting to watch.

Anyway, it will be nice getting to know all of you and learning more about my hobby. :)

hi frances, i'm new too, we have taken the cicclid route, we have
1- ice tip blue acara
2- blue dolphins
1- jewel
1- plec
1- silver shark
1- malawi
breeding pair of cribs, who had babies approx 50 but hav eaten most of them cos we partitioned the tank to prevent the other fish being bullied. big mistake, but leson learnt. in our small tank we have 8 baby platty's and a paroon shark.
