my friend is moving to another home he gave me a tank that is 20 liters with filter, lights , rocks " natural", decorations and ivy plants.
there is no heater tho.
just curious if there is fish or any type of creature can live in good condition in this environment.

A 20 liter (5 gallon) tank is too small for most any fish unfortunately. Shrimp are an option, and/or snails.

Welcome to TFF. :hi:

I have a shrimp tank just a bit bigger than yours. Cherry shrimps come in a variety of colours (red, yellow, orange, blue, red/white stripey to name but a few) though only one colour per tank or you'll end up with almost all brown shrimps. My tank of bright red shrimps isn't as boring as you may think :)
Shrimps do need a heater as well. And live plants - I have a tall piece of wood covered with Java moss which my shrimps particularly like climbing through.

I would recommend either shrimp or a beta. It depends on the tank shape. Is it like a rectangle or is it a more odd shape I guess, like a bowl or bow front?
