I've just moved to Lancaster (end of August) from Zurich, Switzerland and am starting up my tank again.
I was previously a proud owner of platies (that never stopped producing), guppies ( that also never stopped producing), Siamese fighting fish (plakat - that also never stopped laying eggs), cherry barbs, neon tetras, aquatic dwarf frogs, amano shrimps, otocincluses and panda corys. B)
I'm currently cycling my tank (1 week now) and am new to using soft water. Wonder if that's a big problem. Snails have already made a show and I'm hoping to get rid of them before I add any fish in. And because I'm slightly handicap (no car), I most probably will get my fish online.
Anyway, hope to learn more from everyone here.
