Hello From Glasgow

Hello, my name Alex and i am from Glasgow, Scotland. 
 
i have kept fish for many years but i have never thought about joining a forum but am here now to check out what all the talks about. 
 
Just now i have a few tanks. 
 
My main tank with my pride and joy just now is an 
 
Asian Highback RTG Arowana. 
 
Was bought this year about apr may time (6inches), now hes got more colour and more beautiful than ever ( 9 inches ). 
 
I will post some pictures up once i have some decent pictures.

I kept a 29g show brackish tank for a few years.  Had an Arowana that was great fun.  Got about 3 inches (had to feed pellets because it wasn't big enough to eat even feed guppies).  Once it grew to about the size of yours I had to take it back to the LFS I had purchased it from because it wasn't fair to the fish to live in such cramped quarters.  Owner was very fair with me and gave me about double what I had paid for it.  He was still able to sell it for a nice profit.
