Hello everyone

Thought I'd introduce myself to these boards as I have been reading them for a few days now, and decided I'd like to look at some of the pictures, and I'm sure that you lot can answer all of my questions regarding starting up.

I've just bought myself a house, and have my heart set on a tropical fish tank. I've always loved fish, having kept goldfish in tanks before, having a pond at my parents old house and being an avid fisherman. I also scubadiver in Thailand last year. Amazing

Anyway I've been to the little aqatics shop in Teynham and had a look at their tanks and fish in there. I spok to one of the blokes that works there for about an hour, and he was very good to me answering all my questions without me feeling silly, and left me very confident that this shop has the fish's best interests at heart rather than just making some cash.

For the moment I thought I'd just say hello, but will soon (later tonight) post up details on the tank id like to buy, and you can all help me out on setting up a nice community.

Hello and :hi:!! This is a great place to receive advice. As soon as you post, you get a response soon after!!!

Welcome! We're obviously from the same kind of area - I've been to the store in Teynham a few times but recently it seems to have gone down in quality quite a bit. If Rochester isn't too far out for you there's an excellent store there though with a very good selection.

Where abouts in Rochester is this shop. I live in Sittingbourne so its not that far at all.

I'm guessing you live in Kent too, you may have me bugging you for ideas/advice in the not too distant future.
