I am so excited that I found this forum. I have never had any fish before, but always wanted some. I have just set up my first freshwater tank a day ago, and after a little research, my water is tested and ready to go. Now I just have to decide on some fish! I look forward to some much needed advise!

Don't do like I did ) and add fish too soon .It is really healthier for your new friend's if you cycle first.
You won't run into nearly all the problems I did. **head hung in shame**
