Hello, earthlings!

Hi,
I'm a relative newbie to this hobby. I have a heavily planted, 25 gallon Juwel tank containing cardinal tetras, black neon tetras, cherry barbs, pencilfish, pearl gouramis, golden apple snails and a mysterious little goldfish-like barb. I also have a betta in a 10 gallon tank.

I was given the tank by a friend a short while ago and have had problem after problem, but am really enjoying my new hobby. I read everything I can get my hands on, so I'm keen to learn more and to share what I'm learning with others. Thrilled to meet you all!
