Just thought I'd pop in and say hi. 
I've had my tropical tank for 2 years now and have kept fish before.
Currently on the lookout for a 4 or 5ft tank for an upgrade (combined with a house move).
I've just moved to North Wales but I'm originally from the Wirral.
This is my current setup:
Fluval Roma 125.
Eheim Aquaball
Nutrafin CO2 maker.
Aqua glo and power glo lights.
Dorset pea (medium).
False plants.
Live plants:
Cryptocoryne undulata.
Hygrophilia polysperma.
Bacopa monnieri.
Vallisneria gigantia.
Potamogeton (octanterus?) (grows 1" per day!).
Cabomba caroliniana.
Cladophora aegagropila.
Echinodorus tenellus.
Lilaeopsis brasiliensis.
Limnophila aquatica.
Ludwigia arcuata.
Leopard Danio (Brachydanio rerio var. frankei).
Dwarf Neon Rainbowfish (Melanotaenia praecox).
Bosemani Rainbowfish (Melanotaenia bosemani).
Anchor catfish (hara jerdoni).
Cherry Shrimp (Neocaridina heteropoda).
Assassin snail (Anentome helena).
