Just want to say hello to everyone. I am new here and new to keeping tropical fish. It started by accident around December when I found a fish left in a bowl in a basement of an empty house. I took the fish home and thats when it started. I now have a 40 gal tank and have just bought a another one from someone who was selling theirs. They say its a 80 gal. I had to buy something bigger as being new to this I bought the wrong fish for the tank. No one in the shop told me that the bala sharks and tinfoil barbs grew so big when I asked for their advice. I have 3 tinfoils, 2 bala sharks, 1 kissing gourami, 1 pearl gaurami and a gold gourami. Then last week I saved 2 more fish from neglect from someones house. A featherfin catfish ( I found out what this was on this sight) also another I think is some sort of a loach, yet to find out what he is.
