ive got a 15 gallon tropical fish tank
my heater is combi/heater/protecter
75watts by superfish ive had to put
the temp up on heater its on 28c
but on my stick on temp on outside tank
that says 23c on my glass temp in side tank
25c my heater lite only stays on 4 about 2mins at most
went 2 bed lastnite and temp was bout 26c but was 23c this morn
wen i got up its just up and down all the time i darnt
turn heater up no more in tank ive not got the fish in what
it says at the bottom my local fish surplier took them back
plz help me

mayb the heater is broke

Those stick on the outside of the tank thermometers are not the most accurate. Try getting a digital one. I got one for my tank and now have a heater dialed in perfectly.

If you find the thermometer is working ok then I recommend that you take the 75w heater back with the receipt and get a 100w heater.
