Hi,
I have been breeding Tropicals for many years now and have been successful with most species tried(except neons!! Pah!!) but my favourite so far are Killies. If you read and books on this subject(or any other smallish fish) they all say to use a breeding tank of about 10"x8". Now this would be great to have a row of 5 or even 10 of this size tank(have just read the great post on how to make them!!) and filtration is not a problem(small sponge etc) but how do you go about heating them.Obviously small heaters are out of the question due to cost mainly, and it doesn't seem mats are available yet, so what would you guy's suggest? This will be set up in my garage, so space heating is out of the question also.
