Hi Gang, Love the Forum, Can you help me with a question, I live in Ireland, and I have 2 tanks in the house, however I am buying a large good shed for the garden and rigging it with Electricity, and putting my tanks, (And buying some more) in the shed. However, my question is as it gets colder in the winter should i buy an external heater, and what would you recommend

tresher, I'm glad you enjoy the forum. for winter in the shed make sure that each tank has it's own heater and I'd buy a large enough space heater that would be enough to not let the temp in the shed get below 18° celsius (approx 65° farenheit). this combined with in tank heaters should keep the tank water warm enough for your fish. as to what size heater to buy? that would depend on the total area needing heating, check with your local heater seller as to what may fit your needs.
