Heaters And Plastic Tanks

im thinking of getting a plastic tank to house a betta but i was unsure about how safe a heater would be. would it melt the plastic or would it be ok?

I have used 25 watt heaters in plastic tanks with no problems.

I had a little plastic tank with fry in.
Heater was no probs.
If its not even touching the plastic there absolutley no worries.
