Heater Tube

You'll need to get a whole new heater; you can't just replace the tube. Your local fish shop or the internet will have heaters of all different types.

How big is your tank?

I have never heard of the glass being sold on its own.

do you mean heater guards
No, they mean the glass part of the filter which contains all the electronics. You might not know, but it is possible to disassemble heaters: pull all the insides out, etc. This is not something I recommend that people do, but it is possible to re-align the heater by doing this (so that the temperature they say is what they actually heat to). I imagine that the other persons heater may have broken while out of the water, in which case the electronics probably still work.
