Heater Size

Well was wondering what size of heater I would need for this tank is 18x8x6 I think it works out bout 28 litres...
Would I get away with a 25watt heater the tank is just for fry... Thanks

It depends very much on the room temperature.
 
In any case I'd go for 50w. It will heat up the water more quickly and keep the temperature more stable, also you won't risk the water temperature going down on cold nights.
 
Power consumption is going to be pretty much the same.

I'd go for 50w heater as well to be honest, always better to have too much rather than too little.
 
50w heater will simply go off when desired temperature is reached and keep temps steady usually.
 
Especially with the cold winter weather coming, better to have to 50w as that will not struggle with overnight cold temps so much as a 25w heater which probably would be on most of the time.
