I just thought I would let you all know how impressed I am with a 50w ferplast heater I have got. I am seriously good at breaking heaters but this little thing has been keeping my water at constant temperature for a good couple of years now. It is a really compact heater too so in my opinion perfect for a nano tank.
The only reason I am posting this is because, as I have already said heaters have never been my strong point and I recently ended up losing a 300w one. Obviously this isn't something that can wait so I was straight to the shop. I was however disappointed by what they had in stock. The only heaters they had were Resun ones which in my opinion are imported purely to provide cheap equipment which never lasts long. I was even more disappointed to see condensation build up within a couple of days. At the minute it still seems to be heating but I feel that I will have to replace it again soon. The fact that the ferplast is still condensation free shows in my eyes that it is a great little heater and one which I would recommend especially for nano tanks.
